It’s for the Journey

So last week, I put on 2 lbs but this week (mainly due to the extra portions of crispy shredded beef I had at the Chinese last week) but this week I’m feeling optimistic . I’ve been a good girl and had 6 “angel days” this week so I’m hoping for a weight loss when I go to the class tomorrow. I will of course be blogging about the result to let you know.

In the last few days I have come to the conclusion that the dieting plan needs to be long term – certainly in my case I will need to remain focussed for quite some time before i actually get to see the results that I want to see.

I know that this probably doesn’t come as a surprise to you, but to me it’s a revelation – honestly it’s only just kind of dawned on me that I need to remain focused to get the results over a sustained period of time. I really not sure what I expected, I knew that it wouldn’t be an overnight or even a fortnight’s work, but I’ve now got my mojo right, with a good diet plan and also my head seems to be in the right place.

Let me know how you’ve got your head around long term dieting (on a serious level) and what you’ve done to keep on track.

I probably haven’t told you this…

Lunches have also been pretty tasty ranging from soup, sweet potatoes, egg salads etc. Evening meals have consisted of roast chicken dinners, chicken kebabs,…
