Another one!

Well after a few weeks of fear, frustration and the scales apparently ‘freezing’ in the same position, I am glad to report that I have something to report.  We have seen an ‘almighty’ shift and the scales have gone down by one.  Yes, yes, yes, I have lost another pound.  That’s 5 in total now.  I know its not earth shattering, but as Rachael says its better to take 5 off, than to put 5 on.  Thanks for the moral support R!

I do have great hopes I am pleased to declare, for the coming week and maybe weeks as there have been some dramatic developments in my weight loss story.  The first thing is that I have had a bout of S & D since my last weigh in and I can physically see that my waistline has shrunk.  Not very pleasant to go through I can assure you, but on the upside I can not fail to lose weight as I have hardly eaten.

The second thing is that my lovely husband suddenly realised that it is only four weeks to our holiday and that he doesn’t exactly have a speedo friendly figure at the moment.  He has declared the house an alcohol-free zone, and only healthy food shall pass over his lips.  Hurrah, I say because at least with no alcohol in the house I am free of temptation.  I can’t wait for the weigh in at the weekend, but will I cope with my alcohol and fat deprived husband’s mood swings…….. it’s enough to drive a woman to chocolate.

I probably haven’t told you this…

  • What will the scales say?… 1 Day to weigh in

Well I’ve followed the plan, to the letter (no cheating whatsoever) and actually it’s been relatively easy.  The breakfast’s have been good, varying from Special K, bacon and eggs, to smoothies. Lunches have also been pretty tasty ranging from soup, sweet potatoes, egg salads etc. Evening meals have consisted of roast chicken dinners, chicken kebabs,…
