Can you pinch more than an inch?

I was curious to know just how my weight loss would be affecting my whole body shape. As part of the Rosemary Conley plan you get what is called a “Magic Measure” and although according to the trade descriptions act, there would be a case to answer – as it certainly can’t do any magic. It is a tape measure which you get coloured “clips” for. Then you measure yourself and tage on the permanenent clips which become your starting point.

Each week then you re-measure and make a note of the changes (+/-) and so far I’ve done quite well. I’ve lost 2 inches from my waist which I’m really pleased about, along with reductions to my thigh’s  and bottom.

It’s very motivating I have to say, as you don’t want to ruin what you’ve already achieved, and you want to keep ready the numbers go down each week. So as far as magic goes, no rabbits out of hats, but as a motivating tool – it’s a clever little idea.

What motivates you? how do you monitor your progress? Let us know via the comments we’d love to know

    Re-launched and Ready!

Welcome back everybody! A few weeks ago, I said to my hubby….I would really like to re-launch MBFD, what do you think?  Within an hour we were looking at the old site, laughing at the posts and critiquing the design.  It did look a bit dated. “Why?”, I hear you say. I probably haven’t told you this…
